Throw a conflicted New Zealand born Samoan into the dark north of Finland. Add three locals. Mix together the angst left over from the 90's grunge movement, with vulnerable melodic beauty and you have THE GEORGE DOUBLE USE. This unlikely multicultural blend prides itself on its energetic live act, anecdotal lyrics and its over-curios nature during sauna sessions.
TGDU's current line-up has been together since late 2006 and during that time, they have released four singles, one music video (played on The Voice, Finland and Channel 4, New Zealand), toured New Zealand (2009) and played close to 100 live club and festival shows around Finland.
In February 2011 the band finished recording and mixing tracks at Wolfbeat Studios (Oulu, Finland) for their debut album.
